Daniel holds a position as Lecturer at the Department of Management and Law at MCI.

His main research interests are in the field of strategic management, more specifically, mergers and acquisitions (M&A). He has been involved in several international research projects with multinational corporations, has published in international academic journals, and has been co-organizing the track Knowledge and Learning at the British Academy of Management Annual Meetings since 2016. Moreover, he has been a guest lecturer in the MSc program International Business at TU Dublin.

SMA researchers attend Make Learn Conference 2013

Florian Bauer, Kurt Matzler and Daniel Degischer examined the role of organizational learning in M&A and presented their findings at the Make Learn Conference in Zadar, Croatia, last June. The ambivalent results indicate that task integration is learnable while integrating culture is not.
